Roy Bradburn, AKA Doktor Grey-Ravyn, is a charlatan. He has no verifiable lineage as a NOLA Voodoo Priest. Many in the community have asked him about his initiations and his story changes every time. His story always follows the typical path of a charlatan's.

on his ETSY store, he sells a coffin candle. He states that it is charged with Quimbanda and has a djin in it. He has no initiations into Quimbanda. The tradition of working with Djin comes from a completeley different culture and are not worked with quimbanda. He post a picture of what is supposed to be an assentamento of a Pomba Gira. Notice that it is really clean and looks like an Nganga. It looks like he read something out of Carlos Montenegro's books and built it.

Please also check out this blog about him and his false ways. http;//santismamuertenola.blogspot.com/2016/03/the-curious-case-of-rev-doktor-grey.html?m=1

He wonders why he has health problems? It's because he has no idea of what he is doing and is not who he says he is.

I’ve been following these events against ol’ Dok Grey-Ravyn for many years now. I’m a friend of his and a client in the past. His work is true and of the highest intent. When I went to him I was really struggling financially. He knew that and when I tried paying him, he told me not to worry about it - just pay it forward someday. I'll always be grateful for his kindness. I can't speak for others, but for me, he really helped me turn it all around.

His outspoken nature on his knowledge and lifetime studies of the occult has made him a target. People strongly dislike when their mysteries are revealed and do what they can to make him seem like a fake. It would seem that people are becoming less and less tolerable of differing spiritual practices and beliefs and it’s unfortunate.

The ol’ Dok is a good man that despite these attempts to destroy him – he’s here to stay. While there are people out there who have not only tried to destroy his reputation but have made death threats – at the end of the day he’s not going anywhere. Why? Because he’s here to help folk and refuses to be silenced simply because people don’t agree with his spiritual practices or are pissed off because certain mysteries have been revealed. He's still here because he gets what it's all about - helping people.

He Is Not A Quimbandeiro or A Voodoo Priest

 His address is (((REDACTED))).

His ignorant friends and followers are still following him. A lot of them still think he is the real deal and they have not even met him or know anything about what he is talking about. He does not even know anything about what he is talking about.

If you read his stuff about Santisma Muerte you will find that he got it from the books mentioned in the blog that is mentioned. He claims to have learned it from his abuelita. He is NOT Mexican or Hispanic of any type so he does not have am abulita which he has no idea what that even means. Abuela means Grandma. Abuelita means little Grandma.

Nobody in the real New Orleans Voodoo community even knows who he is other than as a charlatan. Voodoo and Vodou is about community amongst other things but, community is a big part. How could he even be a part of the New Orleans Voodoo community if they don't even know him. Besides, the names of the people he mentions who initiated him are made up and nobody in the New Orleans Voodoo community even knows who he is. If he was initiated, then where are his Voodoo house members at? Why aren't any legitimate practitioners defending him?

The picture of the pot with the deer skull and the statue of a Pomba Gira next to it is NOT a real assentamento of Quimbanda. The popt looks lioke he made it to look like an Nganga of Palo. The person who claimed to be a practitioner of Quimbanda who wrote books on how to make Ngangas is Carlos Montenegro. Carlos Montenegro is now in jail and is being charged for the murder of one of his God children. Carlos' stuff was all garbage and the directions he gives on how to build Ngangas is false. Quimbanda does not use Ngangas.

They use assentamentos. Roy Bradburn is not initiated into Quimbanda at all so that means he CANNOT work Quimbanda. Also, he has two Santisma Muerte Candles on the altar in front of the pot. Santisma Muerte is not worked with in Quimbanda. She also does not like sharing her altar space with any other spirit either. Quimbanda is not something anyone can pick and choose from. The spirits can seriously mess someone up if they offend those spirits and or don't work with them properly.

Also, Roy has health problems. He wonders why? It's because he does not know what he is doing. It's also because he messed with things that he has NO proper authority or training to be able to deal with them. His health problems will only continue to get worse.
