Dolce Living Hometown

Stay away! What a nightmare.

I moved in 2 months ago under the promise of a beautiful sparkling pool and fantastic clubhouse which will be available 24 hours a day to the residents. Not to mention the wonderful craftsmanship of the apartment homes and with new construction, you will be the first to live there. Sign here!

The first to live there was the only promise that was true. Today is June 24 and it is 100 degrees outside. Deep breath; We still do not have access to the pool due to a lighting issue the management team claims to be a city issue but the city approved the new plans but the construction company doesn't have the plans from the engineer who come to find out are all associated with the property. Wow, that was a mouthful. Believe it or not, that is the same story I have heard three times in the last 45 days.

The clubhouse story is even better. They cannot allow the clubhouse to be open after business hours, 10am to 6pm M-F and 9am to 6pm Sat. Closed on Sunday's and Holidays. The reason is because they don't have a way to prevent people who do not live here from using the clubhouse after hours. Well, that also keeps the people who live here and pay for it from using it after hours too. Senseless logic when the gym is keyed for residents to use 24/7 and is across the hall from the clubhouse. Why?

The breakers trip constantly

False fire alarms randomly throughout the week. Lastly at 6am on a Saturday.

Bugs

Ceiling fans so loud and obnoxious you have to turn your television volume all the way up to hear.

Air conditioning units that are loud and freeze up

Paint splatter on wood floors that make the floor look dirty.

Poor attention to detail around the apartment

Dog Park with zero lighting.

These are just a few examples.

You would think the management company or owners would do something and quickly. I have been approached by numerous residents wanting to start petitions refusing to pay the full amount of rent as well as proposed lawsuits regarding false advertising. The company went as far as removing its Facebook page due to complaints and bad reviews.

It's funny how Dolce Living advertises themselves as a "Luxury" and "Premium" living complex with the rates as well, but let me tell you, they fall way short of anything luxurious or Premium. This is nothing more than a pretty face with many many wrinkles underneath.

Save your money and lease one of the others in the neighborhood. I bet the people of Hometown would be embarrassed to be associated with this shady property.

I posted my complaint on Facebook along with others. They closed the Facebook page the next day. Not very professional at all.

I guess I have to learn from my mistake. Thank goodness I signed a short lease.

Thank you for reading my rant.

Sincerely,

Upset Tenet
