Crossville,#2UPDATE EX-employee responds

I also worked at the Dollar General Market in Crossville TN, it is like a regular Dollar General but with a third of the store that sells groceries, I worked in the store long enough to see what goes on the managment is suspose to write up each and every cashier who comes up short over $5 third offense you are terminated unless they like you there have been cashiers short and the store manager would let them pay there till back later so that he would not have to fire them I have seen several people show up short and be terminated for there first offense just because they were not liked this is just unfare practice. While the store manager who is married with children keeps an on going affair with the lead front end office girl. I could not stay there with this going on for I am married with children and a devote christian and I am not all about. The manager only hires good looking younger girls wich dont stay very long and he is always interested in trying to sleep with them. JUST NOT RIGHT. I would have rather had middle aged people that needed to work and would work than just young kids who dont care and only want a pay check. I wish a Publix would come to town and it would be a good place to work and with out the monkey business. CONCERENED IN TN

So , loss prevention was not involved at all? Did you have any cameras in that store at all? Where was the manager at all of this? Was it a watch store? Did you sign any cashier slips stating that you counted the till before and after each use? Did they allow anyone else to run off your till? Did they ever write you up for any shortages and how much it was? The answers to these can help you alot here, and two, when putting them down as a reference, put down reason for leaving -personal, and do not contact the employer, and explain in interview, short but simple answers.
