"We are an international moving company that specialises in overseas moving and storage..We will handle all the necessary steps door-to-door including all paperwork and customs regulations for your move. We have a global network of experienced agents in over 100 countries that we have specifically chosed to provide a high standard that we require to suit your individual needs and perform that very important final stage of your move." RUBBISH! 



We moved from the UK back to Orange County, CA. Our household goods sat in Los Angeles for 2.5 months racking up outrageous fees while Dolphin Movers proved derelict.  We had to pay and pay, $11,578.00 over the original quote, to recover our personal posessions.  (U.S. Maritime Comission Consumer Affairs in  Washington D.C. has investigated and verify my claims.) Customs paperwork was not in order when the container arrived.  Dolphin contracted with a TRUCKING COMPANY to process our personal items thru customs! U.S. Customs became irate because our stuff was just sitting there and demanded a full inspection! Thru numerous phone calls with the nice folks in LA and lots of money, we were able to retrieve our household goods.


NEGLIGENT REPRESENTATIONS, BAIT AND SWITCH FEE QUOTING, INNATENTION TO DUTY AND BREACH OF CONTRACTURAL PROMISES.

Rogue Trader Dolphin Movers Ltd continues to ignore arbitration award

The British Associtaion of Removers offers conciliation and arbitration services to consumers who are damaged/defrauded by their members.  We had to drag Dolphin Movers Ltd into arbitration regarding their breach of contractual obligations and were subsequently awarded the fullest amount allowed by arbitration on 7 November 2011.  Not suprisingly, to date, Dolphin Movers Ltd has paid no portionof this award.

What ever happened to the responsible entity that says, "We are sorry, we made a mistake and we will fix it."?????

What I do not understand is why the British Association of Removers (BAR) still allows Dolphin Movers Ltd to retain their membership and prominently display their credentials on their website. Dolphin Movers Ltd engaged in conduct far below BAR standards and even thumbed their nose at U.S. Maritime law. BAR has a belief system and is aware of a member who has not bought into their system. To not weed out their rogue member(s) undermines the premise of BAR's existence.

A culture where in seals of oaths, promises and endorsements have no meaning, declines quickly. A do nothing stance perpetuates corporate irresponsibility and undermines the fabric of society.
