The British Associtaion of Removers offers conciliation and arbitration services to consumers who are damaged/defrauded by their members. We had to drag Dolphin Movers Ltd into arbitration regarding their breach of contractual obligations and were subsequently awarded the fullest amount allowed by arbitration on 7 November 2011. Not suprisingly, to date, Dolphin Movers Ltd has paid no portionof this award.
What ever happened to the responsible entity that says, "We are sorry, we made a mistake and we will fix it."?????
What I do not understand is why the British Association of Removers (BAR) still allows Dolphin Movers Ltd to retain their membership and prominently display their credentials on their website. Dolphin Movers Ltd engaged in conduct far below BAR standards and even thumbed their nose at U.S. Maritime law. BAR has a belief system and is aware of a member who has not bought into their system. To not weed out their rogue member(s) undermines the premise of BAR's existence.
A culture where in seals of oaths, promises and endorsements have no meaning, declines quickly. A do nothing stance perpetuates corporate irresponsibility and undermines the fabric of society.
