Steve Puleo received his money back by certified mail on 9/17/2012, 21 days before he filed this rebuttal.  He also filed a Scambook Report against us just 5 days after we delivered Spirit and Wild Child to them in Punta Gorda, only for them to refuse Wild Child 1 hour before delivery.

(((ROR REDACTED)))

Francine and Steve Puleo refused to adopt Wild Child after paying his adoption fee and after he was on the trailer in route to be delivered to Punta Gorda from Weeki Wachee.  They claimed they could not house a stallion.

Before the adoption was made, Bob with RDA Equine Services Inc. told them that Wild Child had to be gelded before leaving the Domino Effect Rescue Ranch and they would need to send the gelding fee.  They did not want to do this and they made claims that Tommy, the barn owner, was also a veterinarian and he would geld Wild Child on arrival.  We agreed to do this under these conditions and then 1 hour from delivering the horses to the barn they called and refused Wild Child because he was a stallion.

Their refusal was of no negligence on our part, but a choice they made because of not knowing what they were looking for in a horse and trying to shop online to find one without ever meeting the horses in person.  They demanded an instant refund, even though we explained to them that the money was utilized to pay for feed, hay, and truck repairs.  They were told that they would receive their money back after Wild Child and Smokey were adopted.  Smokey was a horse that they relinquished in our care to take back to the rescue.

The following week we adopted out Wild Child and we sent them a money order by certified mail on 9/17/2012, refunding their adoption fee for Wild Child, the horse that they refused before arrival.  RDA Equine Services Inc. had initially agreed to give them a $200 discount for relinquishing Smokey in our care only because they were adopting 2 horses from RDA Equine Services Inc.  They broke this agreement after they chose not to adopt Wild Child, as ALL of our horses are adopted out at $500.

When we saw that they had posted a Scambook report against the DERR after RDA Equine Services Inc. had paid them their money back, we told them that they needed to have this removed before RDA Equine Services Inc. would give them the discount for Smokey to them, even though they broke the original agreement with us.

First off, the Domino Effect Rescue Ranch NEVER took part in this adoption, but yet they are laying blame on DERR and publically trashing DERR online.  They adopted Spirit from RDA Equine Services Inc. and they relinquished Smokey to RDA Equine Services Inc.-2 separate entities.  Domino Effect does NOT pay money towards horses that are in need of rehoming or rescued.  Domino Effect NEVER agreed to give them a discount on their adoptions.  They not only broke the agreement on adopting both horses, but they had agreed to have Wild Child gelded upon arrival, so their refusal to take Wild Child was their negligence.

We have paid them back in FULL.  These reports are simply Steve Puleo's way of throwing a temper tantrum because we did not meet his demands.

Please check out the link below for the complete details with proof of documentation of what took place between RDA Equine Services and Steve and Francine Puleo.  Proof of public complaints, Scambook Report, e-mails that transpired, and proof of money order and certified mail of funds paid, ALL documentations below.
