Dovercheli Or Dovrcheli Beware of Scam "Agency" Dovercheli or Dovrcheli lets shut them down!!! Manhattan New York
Hi all, my names Eden, & im a freelance model in nyc, and I have something to tell u...though I said this would never happen to me, it did...long story short, I went to one of Doverchelis open calls, they told me I needed new pix-even though the guy who took the pix was asked but declined to be one of their photogs. Anyway, they wanted $1,500 for me to shoot with one of their oh so great photogs, who turned out to be just starting out, mua was alright, stylist didnt even personalize the clothes, they were on a rack for me and countless other models to share.
Luckily, I negotiated the price to a little less, but almost a year, and $800 later, still have not had one job booked by them, and they just recently sent me out on 2 castings. Thats a days work for a model, not 9 months!! They also rip off their photogs, who have told me that they only get paid about 50/hr, but Dovrcheli gets about 1000 per shoot-you do the math. Anyway, the number of photogs and models whom Ive met since who have told me they went thru the same experience is far too high, and im going to fox 5 investigators to reveal my case very soon. We are entitled to our money back, and the more ppl we have to provide info and testimony about their shady company, the better. So if you want to help put this to an end, or just get your money back, please get back to me with your story. Thanx a bunch

Updating my previous post---I tried calling them for to speak with Ben about the cd of images the photographer did 10 months back before since the photographer legally needs the agency's permission to release the pics tot he modell(lame)and when I tried calling-- it said number not in service-- I emailed everyone there and two of them came back to me saying, address not known -- strange! I think I might stop by today to see if they are indeed out of service, or perhpas they changed their number-- have no idea --- but we should definately all get together and file a suit against them -- there are soooo many models that have gotten screwed, a know a few of them -- also post on craigslist to keep reminded other models or models who get reeled into this scam-- Well the number thing is a strange--disconnected..could it be???

I had no idea they had changed their name, everytime I call, Ben tells me hell get back to me which of course never happens, there is sucha thing called a class action suit which we could go ahead with if we have enough people, it only costs about $12 to file, and theyll probably settle if we hit them with a lawsuit just so word doesnt get out. If anyone shares this same story or similar to it, please post your Rip-off Report and I think we can take them on. The more Reports here, the faster we can get an attorney to sue or for the authorities to go after them. Good luck to all!

I too am a model who was scammed by Dovrcheli or now known as D Editorial -- I have not had one casting in 10 months! It's soon going on a year and have heard nothing. I aldo have know so many people who were ripped off as well. Please help!
