Dr. Bizer's Vision World Rip Off - $400 Louisville Kentucky
I received a glasses and contact exam at the end of December so I could use my 2007 healthcare flex spending accounting funds. but needed to call them that day with further information regarding my current contact prescription before they could issue me a new contact prescription. I called them that day with the necessary info. I specifically told them in person and on the phone that I would not be ordering contacts through them, but that I needed the prescription so I could take it elsewhere.
I proceeded to order a one year supply of contacts online, with the anticipation of a reimbursement from my healthcare flex spending account. However, Dr. Bizer's sent the contacts company an incorrect fax stating that I had only received a glasses exam. The contacts company assured me that if I got the problem with Dr. Bizers straightened out, they would fill the order.
Again, I called and spoke with the same contact technician who assured me that she would fax the info to the contact company that day. Apparently, Dr. Bizer's office never sent the fax because the contact company cancelled my order after 7 days.
Therefore, I was out $399.84 for a one year supply of contact lenses because the date to file for the 2007 flex spending reimbursement had past.
A co-worker said that he also had problems with this store and would never go there again.
