Ok, I think the problem here is in expectations. Do NOT go to a homeopathic vet if you want traditional veterinary care, such as sub-q fluids. You go to a traditional, western, allopathic vet for that. You go to a homeopath for HOMEOPATHIC remedies to help support and heal your dog. These won't be quick fixes, but will take time to help the body heal itself from a lifetime of assaults from pollution, vaccinations, flea/tick preventatives, poor diet, etc. These things lead to chronic ill health which will manifest as "diseases" like kidney failure, but the kidney failure is just a symptom of a deeper underlying illness that a trained homeopath will analyze and prescribe an appropriate remedy based on your dogs history and symptoms. Just like you wouldn't take your dog to a veterinary opthamologist for a broken leg, don't go to a homeopathic vet expecting "traditional" veterinary treatment.
As to the insults and accusations, I can't really comment on that having never met Dr. Feinman (I plan on taking my new rescue in to him shortly) but I do have several friends who use him and are VERY happy with the successful treatment he has given to their dogs. This poster seems to have plenty of anger herself, so whatever unpleasant exchanges may have taken place between her and Dr. Feinman were probably equally her fault. I can certainly understand her being upset about the death of her dog, but the level of this vendetta (calling other vets and vet schools to complain) seems rather suspicious.....
