Dr. John Snead Refuses to correct his mistake with my lens implants Fort Myers & Bonita Springs Florida
I paid $4000 to have the new IOL lenses implanted for my cataract surgery. This was supposed to insure that I would not need glasses after the surgery. So post surgery I find that not only can I not read, my distance vision is blurry and I have awful halos. When I tell Dr. Snead he said, "If you want these lenses changed, you will have to go to someone else."
Well when I went to another surgeon, low and behold, the lenses Dr. Snead put in my eye were not the correct prescription so that is why my distance vision is -75 in one eye. And the IOL's he suggested I had implanted were not what should have been suggested considering my work. He should have told me of the potential problems with these and offered alternative solutions. But, fo course, those alternatives would not have had me paying the $4000 additional.
STAY AWAY. His place is like a converyor belt. In and out with NO geniune concern for the patient in making their life better.
