We rented a beach house for our 2014 Thanksgiving Family Reunion from this individual.
I want to let everyone out there that wants to rent this house what happened to us.
Don't do it! You’ll do better under a bridge....
Don’t let them fool you with the price.
Our thanksgiving family reunion was completely ruined thanks to this people.
The place is filthy, with an awful humidity moldy smell. With cockroaches and mice feces everywhere, trash everywhere. Well, not sure who can possible stay/sleep in a house in such conditions. Not even stayed in the house for the aforementioned conditions. Just enter the house could not even breathe because of the smell of the house. When I went to the ground floor a mice came out of the kitchen area. Then it was a problem to deal with the owner to get our money back. The person I made the deal with “Alex” yes answered every call or text message but didn’t even show up. Then spoke to someone that called himself the owners assistant “Jose”, very hard to understand but also very rude. Then the daughter “Svetlana” of the owner calls with all this excuses and stories and trying to translate for Jose. They made us wait for hours, didn’t’ wanted to refund the money until Friday, we arrived on a Wednesday. Told us to wait that they were going to have someone to over to clean the house. That it looks like the house got broken in. Hell no I will stay in the house even if you bring the Ebola disinfecting squad. Offered us to stay at their house…. Can you believe that? Odd right (Of course we needed our money back so we could find a place to stay. BTW 4 families with 2 newborn babies, 3 toddlers and 2 kids) Then Alex tells me that the owner agreed to pay for our hotel and refunds us for the whole amount due to the inconvenience. Found a place to stay, the assistant was supposed to get to the hotel to give us our money back and pay for the hotel, didn’t show up until next morning. Refunded the money but refuses to pay for the rooms. His attitude was scary till the point that the front desk lady was nervous, so I let him go to avoid any issues. Then I find out from the guy I made the deal with “Alex” that the guy that call himself the assistant was actually the owner. So Bunch of liars…. Why lie? You have any idea how much money I lost on food; all the food we were going to cook for thanksgiving is gone.
