Dr.Bizer's Vision World ripoff Louisville Kentucky
I went into Dr. Bizer's one day to order another pair of contacts. When i got to the front desk they looked up my information, and i was told i needed an exam before ordering a new pair. So i asked them how much it was going to cost and they gave me the amount. after my exam i ordered the contacts and was on my way. several weeks later, when i ran out of contacts, i stopped by dr. bizer's on the way to work. again i went to the front desk and told them i needed to order another pair of contacts, they once again look up my file and told me i was due for an exam. i told the lady at the front that i had just had an exam several weeks earlier, and they said they see no file of it.
so once again i was stuck getting another exam and paying for it as well. after being examined, they took me to this side room to try on contacts and order new ones. once i had selected the contacts i wanted i asked them to please mail them to me so that i would never have to step foot in there again. they told me there was an additional charge for having them mailed, but i told them it was alright and gave them my credit card to pay the fee. as i was finishing the prolomged process i asked if there was a manager i could speak with because i had never had so much time and money wasted in my life. they lady told me the manager would be in later, and gave me a card with her name and number.
sandy brown was the name of the lady i was to call. so when i arrived at work i decided to give mrs.brown a call. when i had told her what happened she appologized and said she would give me a couple pairs of contacts for free, and that she was so sorry this had happened to me. she said that the women at the front desk hadn't seen the note in my file about already having an exam. after the conversation with mrs. brown i decided to forget about the whole thing and continue using Dr.Bizer's. then came time for my contacts to arrive. i waited days and weeks, and no contacts. so idecided to give them a call.
when i called they said my contacts did not get mailed and that i would have to come and pick them up, but i never saw the shipping cost back in my account. months later i decided to go back and order my contacts. again i went to the front desk, and again they told me i needed another exam. this time i was not gonna pay again, so i asked to speak to a manager. eventually they found the note once again verifying my exam. so i ordered my contacts and asked again for them to be mailed. well i waited and waited and my contacts never showed. so i once again called the office, and they told me something had gone wrong and they never mailed the contacts. so i asked them why they hadn't called and told me my contacts were sitting there, they didn't even have an explanation.
I also asked why they kept charging me mailing fees when i have to pick them up everytime and if they do this to everyone else. i guess the lady on the phone didn't like me asking so many questions so she just hung up on me. i called right back and asked to talk to a manager immediately. when the manager got on the phone, i explained my situation and asked about the charges made to my card for the mailing fees. her answer was, "i mean it's only a two dollar fee!" i have never been scammed like this ever before, and i could not belive the way this situation was handled. i just wonder how many other people this has happened to.
