Kellie, It's terrible when companies offer such poor customer service. Don't fret, though. You can resell the software; in my reading of the license (NOT a lawyer), you can ask for as much money as you can negotiate for, but you should at least be able to get the price you paid. I downloaded this software from this site, and Section 16 of the license I got for Office 2007 reads: 16. TRANSFER TO A THIRD PARTY. The first user of the software may make a one-time transfer of the software, and this agreement, directly to a third party. The first user must uninstall the software before transferring it separately from the device. The first user may not retain any copies. Before any permitted transfer, the other party must agree that this agreement applies to the transfer and use of the software. The transfer must include the proof of license. If the software is an upgrade, any transfer must also include all prior versions of the software. To download the license, see: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/products/HA102103171033.aspx Thus, if you saved the downloaded files (if not, try to get the site to help you re-download these; they MIGHT do that), you can explain the situation to a friend, roommate, or anybody on Craigslist. The price is crazy low, so if you can convince somebody you're legit, you could get your cash back. Best of luck!
