I'm not really sure why your minimum payment would change to that much. Typically when you are late, dell financial will charge the normal late fee, and possibly default your interest rate (per the credit agreement terms and conditions) to the standard 29.99% as opposed to what you were originally approved for). Did your interest rate change after you were late? That could have something to do with your higher minimum payment. Also, did you purchase under some type of no interest promo? If so, one of the conditions for this agreement, is making at LEAST the minimum payment EVERYmonth (being late would default on this condition). If you don't follow the terms, Dell will add all back interest to your bill, also possibly raising your minimum payment. Just a thought.....
