Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Ok. i have been reading some of the 400+ posts & i have noticed a common thread or threads.

1. its not your fault

2. someone lied to you

3. you don't have money to make payments

4. you have money for a class action lawsuit

5. you have money for a computer & Internet to post about not having money

6. the car/dealer said one thing & you didn't get it in writing

7. you play the sympathy card easily:

a; i was in Iraq

b; spouse died

c; lost job

d; i became sick

8. you signed a legal contract but don't know how interest rate works

9. you believe that if you make borrow 10k from a bank you pay back 10k & the loan will be zero balance.

10. you have multi repos, foreclosures, chargeoffs but you think a bank should not be careful of letting you borrow money

11. you do not return phone calls from the bank that owes you money

12. you don't want to pay $10 to make a payment over the Internet but would rather be late.

13. you think that a company that has been doing business for 11yrs + has billions of dollars at their disposal is doing something illegal.

14. out of 70k loans this company has done you represent 400+ that cant seem to get the whole borrow money make a payment...borrow money make a payment..

does this apply to everyone? no. do companies make mistakes...sure. i have my car payment taken out automatically with wellsfargo. they took out 2 payments by mistake. i called them got one of the charges reversed. end of story. i got them to fax me confirmation that 1. i made at least one payment & my account was in good standing. 2. that they reversed the 2nd payment & that my account was in good standing. simple.

i think its funny how many cars we repo with rims. they have enough money to buy $2k rims they car note is behind & instead of taking off the rims & selling them to make payments they let it all repo. here is a rule of thumb for all of you to follow. your car payment must be under 15% of your GROSS monthly income. for every 1000 you make a month you can have 150 car payment. you make 2000 a month you should not pay more than 300. that's how much car you can afford...anything more than that & you are screwing yourself.

REAL-LIFE, documentable stupidity from Drive: The employee below is based on several of the morons my husband had to deal with. The last line is in their very near future. Drive Employee: "Yes, they did call to change their address, but we are too stupid and/or lazy to change both the street number AND the street name, so when we get two pieces of mail back, we reported them as a skip..never mind we had the correct address on the paperwork from the insurance company, the DMV, and their checking account. So after the repo guy tells us what the mistake is, but we send him out anyway (gotta save face somehow), then we "sort of" fill out a "Notice of Right to Reinstate Contract & Redeem Vehicle", somehow "forgetting" to fill out anything other than the amount claimed due..oops, hope that they don't know that makes any deficiency uncollectible or reportable. We can get around that by just not sending out anything and send it to Vengroff to try to get it from them. Hope Vengroff doesn't send any of the paperwork to them...maybe they'll be so intimidated that they won't ask for it. Oh crap, they did...and they noticed that we supposedly auctioned the vehicle four days before it was repoed, not to mention the other mistakes we made. What now? Hey, keep verifying the disputed tradeline to the CRAs...at least we can illegally poison their credit. Since we can't possibly claim a deficiency, let's pawn this off on Palisades and their rent-a-lawyers for pennies. They'll sewer serve them anyway. OMG, Palisades dismissed the case in court because they answered and proved no deficiency is due. That damned Rees-Levering thing. What's next? Hope they don't come after us for an FCRA violation. Maybe if we change the tradeline to "transferred", they'll be happy and won't realize we are still violating by reporting a charged-off debt that isn't a debt. Hope they didn't notice we verified it twice as accurate, months after we suckered, I mean, SOLD the account. WHAT? There's a process server here??? What the -------??"
