Drive Time harrassment Costa Mesa California
I am currently financing a car through Drivetime. I just bought the car back in oct of 03. These people drive me insane with all the phone calls to my job and at home to remind me of my payment. Just a few minutes ago I got off the phone with a man at the Garden Grove office who was a real idiot. I just had to defer my payment due to the fact that my husband was hit by a drunk driver 3 months ago, is not working, no money coming in, i am the only one working and barley making it.
Anyhow, i owe 20.00 on a payment that was due 2 weeks ago, and a new payment that was due this last saturday ( 2 days ago) so I told the man that I was not sure what i could do due to the fact that as we speak I am losing my house, and he said " well your about to lose your car too" I came very very close to telling him where to shove it, however i figure that he will get his in the end. Anyhow as a current customer of theirs I just want to warn all of you to beware, because if you hit a hard time, they will come after you with a vegence. He told me at 5:15 pm, if i did not have the money there tonight he was going to send this out for a repossesion. So that is where my story ends.
