The company is simply a third party entity, engaged in the business of luring people to work for two of the worst companies there are in the trucking industry. Because they are set up as they are, they can pretty much operate the way they want to. Proving the actual reason you were declined to proceed with your training would be difficult. It is for that reason that they did what they did to you, by luring you onto their premises, wasting your time, and refusing to give you a valid reason for allowing you to train. The most alarming thing about Driver Solutions that I noticed when I visited their website, is the fact that there is absolutely no information as to a physical address or other pertinent information, that would let someone know exactly who and what was perusing the information that you would be sending them over the internet. That is a big red flag, and I would NEVER submit any personal information to such an entity, in spite of the fact that the application pages are encrypted. I could not find anything other than vague references on their pages to their business. Not one address, a name, or even a city or state was listed on their site. That is reason enough to avoid entering so much as your phone number to them. If your background is clean, I would take their claim that you are not employable with any trucking company with a grain of salt. As desperate as the two companies are for drivers, that are a part of Driver Solutions, it does seem weird that you would be passed over and declared as such. Is it possible that a former employer has torpedoed you with a bad job reference, or is there any possibility of a criminal record of any kind lingering in your background? If you are considering trucking, look locally to a community college or trade school that offers driver training, and see what opportunities exist. Chances are that you will be placed with better companies, and not roped into expensive contracts. You live in a state that offers lucrative grants and assistance for the re-training for displaced workers. Colleges and trade school tuition departments can guide you to how to apply for those resources. There are a couple of companies that offer direct driver training, but consider that a last option, and as I understand it, the one company that I recommend, Schneider National Carriers, has recently suspended their training program until further notice. Read the reports on this site, and avoid those companies that have horrible reputations. As for Driver Solutions, I would not recommend that ANYONE submit applications to them, because they apparently have an internet presence ONLY, and refuse to provide a legitimate address and other contact information. A phone number can be forwarded practically to any place on the planet. Driver Solutions appears as if it has been purposely set up to side-step FCRA rules and regulations, and/or as fronts for at least two companies with horrible reputations. I welcome their rebuttal.

Well. . .five days after it started. .. its over. . . .I started training @ C1 in Ft Wayne on Monday. . .passed my CDL permits with flying colors on wednesday. . . and i've been told today that no company would hire me, even after i qualified thru Drivers Solutions with a clean background, great physical, solid work history, and solid references. No reason was given. . .. none.when asked. . .they said they dont have to tell me A week wasted. . .money that i didn't have to spend on food for a week, wasted. . .gas to get here from detroit wasted. . . thoughts of finally being on the right track, wasted. . . hopes dashed. I've heard of this happening to people. . .going thru the screening and training only to be sent home a week or so later with no explanation. Whats important to note here is that companies can't continue to treat people like this without expecting one person to react to the delayed rejection in a violent or uncontrolable way, seeking revenge on those that were in a position to make decisions. . .or even innocents. I have a cool head and I know that God will provide a path if I continue to do right for the right reasons. . . But. . . things are getting bad out here. . .and its only a matter of time before companies treating people any ol' kind of way has some horrible newsworthy consequences. . .times are tough and getting tougher. . .its inevitable that being treated this way is going to cause someone to snap.. . .the the question will be "why did this happen?? why did this normal person snap?"
