Dropshipdesign Misleading advertisment, Unsellable products Internet
Dropshipdesign advertisement states that they offer thousands of products for sale, and even have a special attachment for directly placing merchandise on ebay (for an additional fee of course). They provide you with a website from which to market all the items, which was actually quite nice. The first part of their claim is true they have thousands of items; however, I or anyone, could by these items cheaper online, like at ebay, or at any discount store for cheaper than what my COST was. There was absolutely no way to sell these items on ebay since I was paying more for them than they were selling for! Plus, on the very rare occasion where Dropshipdesign did have something less expensive, the shipping charges were outrageous. So, once shipping fees (and in some cases handling fees) were added there was never a product that could not be purchased elsewhere for much cheaper. I spent hours trying to find items to sell. I maintained this website for 3 years, promoted it with various online methods, like pay per clicks, and even went to the expense of having a professional company which deals with promoting business online, yet, in all that time I had only one sale! With my pay per clicks I registered hundreds of clicks per day.
So, I feel it was not my failure, but the fact the items were too expensive initially and when the additional shipping was added, made the products unsellable. In fact, I would not even buy from my own website, too expensive. That's pathetic. My advice, don't waste your hard earned money with Dropshipdesign.
