I signed up with this company 1-10-06. There is not one good thing I can say about this company,they are so deceptive. They make you believe and say you own the website and they even say go find you a domain name which is available and get back to us with it and we will even register your domain name for you free. That way you really think its your domain name. What they fail to let you know is what they really do is register the domain name to themselves. This is definitely false advertising because if you don't own the domain name you can't own the website because they go hand-in-hand. It's like having a pink slip with a car, you don't own the car if you don't have the pink slip. That gives them the power to shut down your site whenever they want to.
The next problem is that when you get a website it has to be totally optimized to be recognized by any of the search engines. I hired a company to do that, thinking that it was my website and that I owned it. I found out real fast I didn't own any thing. I had a link scan done on my website for any errors. It was full of HTML syntax errors,343 errors. There is no way a search engine could effectively put this in Google or any other site and a high position where you can start making money. I told them about this, and they just gave me the runaround. They never fixed it.
The next thing I needed was links on every page, so I wrote and told him about it so I could get more search engine friendly website and get a higher position on the Internet. They wouldn't do it. The people I hired to optimize my website also said I needed five static pages. I told them about that and they wouldn't let me do it.if I owned this website why should I have to ask them to let me do these things and not be able to just go in and take care of it myself. I thought I owned this d**n website. I couldn't do anything with it. Then the man that was optimizing my website told me the way they have it set up you can't even get put on DMoz.
The very second order that a customer made,a friend of mine, ordered a clock. When he received it, it ran for four hours and quit. I have fought with this company over and over to make this a good optimized friendly search engine website and they have refused to let me do it. Why is it that way, if I own it and it's mine? It's BS.
If you're thinking about getting a website from this company, forget it. I've made $3.80 in one year. The complete lie is you don't own the website. The domain name is not registered to you and in your name. They just seemingly put it in there like it's yours and you own it.
My website has been shut down for a week now and they didn't even write and tell me why. They're probably going to say my membership fees are due when they promised to pay the next year for free because of some spammers going in to the website and getting it shut down. They said they were sorry that happened and I would get next year's membership paid for free.
This is a bogus company to do business with. I don't have any proof but it wouldn't surprise me if they were using my website to make money off of it without me knowing it. I would also like to point out that at the time they shut my website down because of spammers they said if I wanted my website back up quicker I would have to change domain names. I said okay, I gave them the domain name but because it was registered to me they refused to let me do it. You call that owning this website? I have proof of this. The name of my website was discountshoppingdeals.net. At go daddy domain names I have four domain names listed. They are called discountshoppingdeals.biz, and .info, .name and .org. All they had to do was change the end of my domain name to either .biz, .org, .name or.info.
Let me tell you you cannot trust this company in any shape form or fashion. Please do not do business with them and for you people out there that own or think you own one of these websites, go have a link scan done on your website and see how many errors are on it. You can get this done for free. All of these errors mean that your website is not search engine friendly. You do not own these websites or the domain name and you are getting ripped of. All your ending up doing is renting a website to become a customer to buy from them. That's how deceptive they are.
Last and final thing, I have all corresponding e-mails with drop ship design that show everything I have said here is true.
They have changed a few things since then but I have proof from me and them in emails. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

The companys using my name are web links to me ,I did not know that ,if dropship design would have been on the ball ,they would have looked at that name I gave them and should have been able to explain that to me ,so please disreguard this part of complaint

This is what I received from drop ship design shutting my site down for two weeks and not even notifying me that they had done it, this is their answer Larry, We made some corrections to the DNS settings of your domain name, which can take up to 24 hours to become effective. Well like I said my site's been down a couple weeks without even notifying me about it and that's their answer so what they are really saying is it takes two weeks to set the DNS settings and oh by the way we don't give a d**n enough about your website after it's been off for two weeks to let you know about it. so good thing you called us or it would have been off forever
