DRS Transfer & Storage - Smooth Moves Moving - Guy Ailam Get your property held hostage & damaged. Pay for non existent insurance. ripoff Hanover Maryland
I was told they were a West coast large company by Guy Ailam, with tractor trailers. They have one truck which was too small for the job. What property they packed was done so badly and without thought that it was wrecked.
They origionally gave 30day payment terms to my husbands company and then demanded payment immediately or they wouldn't deliver our stored property. They also demanded $300 extra for using a pre agreed credit card.
The conservative estimate for damage to our furniture and property is $4000. I had paid extra for full insurance coverage. I filed my claim with Ailam who then ignored me. The phones are not answered. All emails returned. I finally got hold of him on a cell number and he said he'd been sacked and no longer worked for DRS. The call ID on my phone said Smooth Moves Moving which is a DRS alias. I confronted him on the phone saying that I knew it was the same company, operating from the same address and with the same owner and he sent a hostile email reply.
If you want to be lied to, get your property damaged, pay for non existent insurance, then trust Guy Ailam and DRS / Smooth Moves Moving.

If you paid for additional insurnace, you should get it. Since Guy's not going to submit your claim to his insurance company, you should do it. Policy# IMP 6548414 GREAT AMERICAN INSURANCE CO. CINCINNATI, OH US 45202 Telephone: (513) 345 - 6473 Fax: (513) 287 - 8230 Let them know the whole story, that you paid for full coverage and the movers have done nothing with your claim. This insurance policy is actually under the name Y.L.S. Logistics Center, which is the only active moving license held by Yigal (Jay) Suisa, Guy Alaim's boss. D.R.S. Transfer & Storage, AKA LH Telemarketing Solutions hasn't had a valid interstate license since their broker (not carrier) authority was revoked this past June. Smooth Move was the original name for Yigal's company, and sometime in the past year they changed the name to YLS Logistics Center, which is now the all-encompassing name for a collection of about 10 incorporations run by Yigal located at 7476 New Ridge Rd #CC, Hanover, MD 21076.
