I met George Beaudoin in March of this year and we became fast friends. He drives a truck for Dubois Transport in Napierville, Canada. It soon developed into something else and he ask me to marry him and we made plans to do so. In the beginning George was sweet and loving but soon his personality changed. He of course called me several times a day but then everything started to go bad. He would scream and yell at me on the phone. I worked in a hospital and things were to be kept quite and then one night before we were to be married he called me at work yelling so loudly that the doors and windows to my office had to be closed. I hung the phone up on him and he would call back. I finally told a co-worker if he called back to tell him I had left. I was out in the hallway doing my nightly charting and he called on my cell phone and continued the tirad that could be heard from one end of the hall to the other. I called Security from another phone and ask him if he could deal with it and he said no because I did not have a Order of Protection against him at the time. At that time I didn't feel I needed one. I ask him to wait until I got home and we would discuss it but he continued to yell and curse at me. George had made threats when he was angry that he would have his sister or a female motorcycle gang beat me but did not take it seriously. Needless to say I was fired from my job because of it. At that point in time he was using an American Cell phone that I had gotten for him and he was also on US soil in the company Semi truck. I have ask Mr. Dubois for compensation because I lost my job because of his employee but so far have not recieved an answer as to whether they would compensate me or not. So now I have no means of support and am in danger of loosing my home. I am also diabetic with diabetic neurapathy and Narcolepsy and no insurance because it was taken away when I was fired. I know that trucking companies have to carry liability insurance on their employees but they have not taken heed to my pleas. George is Canadian and was seeking citizenship in this country and because I loved him I was going to help him. He has joined Facebook in this country but post he is from Mo. When I met him he said he was from Kentucky but when I talked to him on the phone I detected the accent and ask him where he was from and he said Canada. The point is he is the reason that I was fired from my job because of his behavior on the phone. I feel Dubois Transport is responsible for compensating me for my job lose considering I can't find another one. Neither they or George Beaudoin have offered assistance.
