DV Urgent Care Medical Group - Albert Ridlovski, MD Doctor Lied To Obtain Office Visit Fee, Didn't Do Anything, And Then Billed Me More Rancho Cucamonga California
Was bitten by a spider above my eye which produced a bacteria infection in that eye. Numerious Ophthalmology Offices advised me to go to urgent care because they didn't have any available appointments. Went to DV Urgent Care Medical Group in Rancho Cucamonga. Upon checking in, I informed them I didn't want the appointment if it was only going to result in a referral back to an Ophthalmologist. The nurse said she would ask the doctor.
The nurse came back advising me that Dr. Ridlovski would see me to make an evaluation if he could help me without it resulting in a referral. The doctor looked at my eye, not using any equipment, asked me relevent questions concerning my eye problem, and then said he could help me.
So, I finished the paperwork, paid my money and waited for them to call me. The same doctor, Dr. Ridlovski, looked at my eye, again not using any equipment but his naked eye, asked me the same questions as before
and then said ... he could not help me. He was referring me to an Ophthalmology Office a floor above his new practice just down the street. Doctor Ridlovski then begin to tell me all about his new practice and handed me marketing brochures for his practice. He asked if I had a current doctor (told him I do that I liked them) and then he began to solicit me as a new patient for his practice. Left that office furious that I paid cash and was just rippedoff!
I was able to obtain an appointment on my own, and was treated for the infection by an ophthalmologist.
One week later, I received an invoice requesting more money for that office visit from DV Urgent Care Medical Group. I called them and they never returned my call. Two weeks later, received another invoice for the same charge. Called again, no one was available.
Not only am I not going to pay this addition ripoff fee, but I want my original payment back based on the unethical business practice of Doctor Ridlovski and DV Urgent Care Medical Group. That doctor flatout lied just to receive an office fee and to solicit new patients for his private practice ... and then try and collect more money on top of their disgraceful conduct.
I will be filing more reports with every resource I can find exposing this unethical medical facility and Doctor Ridlovski. If anyone can send me other agencies to file a report against them, please let me know.
