I graduated on May 21st this year and received an email from my university promoting the services of DVD Productions. For $34.99 I would receive a dvd of the entire ceremony and a guarantee that I would be filmed getting hooded and receiving my diploma during the masters ceremony. I thought this was great because my family somehow missed filming the most important part of the ceremony, me. The website stated that delivery would be approximately 6-8 weeks after the ceremony.
On June 20th, after I hadn't received my dvd, I started sending emails to DVD Productions. On July 10th, I received an email stating:

Dear Customer,
Your DVD order for CSU Dominguez Hills is scheduled to be shipped on July 29th.
Please allow 8-10 business days for USPS Media-Mail delivery.
If you do not receive your DVD by August 13th, please contact us:
We appreciate your patience.
Thank you,
DVD Graduation
I waited and started calling their posted number which I found on their website: http://www.dvdgraduation.com/nvcontact.htm and found that the phone just rang, no answering machine...nothing.
I finally decided to send another email and copy the university department that advertised their services and finally received an email today. Check it out!

This company is not functional at this time because it has serious financial problems.
Due to the recession, sales were 60% less than expected.
We are still doing everything we can to obtain financing to ship out the remainder of the 25% DVDs.
Once we get additional financing, we can proceed with shipment.
Believe me, we are doing everything we can to send out DVDs.
For the past 7 years we delivered a quality product and good customer service.
Sadly, our business has come to an end with the recession.
If we do not get financing within the next few weeks we will have no choice but to officially file for bankruptcy.

There was no name, nothing. I guess this says it all. No DVD for me.
I am writing this to inform others that their website is still operational and accepting orders. Beware!!!
