I discovered this dvd retailer online when I was looking to purchase the Beach Body Insanity workout.  They claimed to sell authentic, "new in the package, sealed" Insanity workouts at a discounted rate because they were "wholesalers".  So I ordered the Insanity Deluxe package from them.  They shipped it from China, and from the beginning I was concerned about authenticity, but I'll admit it didn't occur to me that they would have pirated the workouts from the internet, burned them to DVD's, and sold them as authentic.

Unfortunately, that is exactly what I received.  The box was different, the packaging on the DVD's was cheap cardboard with double stick tape holding the dvd's in place.  It was clearly a ripped off version of the original workout program.  On top of that, 2 of the DVD's did not work at all-- they skipped every few seconds to different parts of the workout, and were completely useless.

When I contacted the company, the first thing I discovered was that the review form on their website didn't actually accept reviews, it just gave you an error each time you submitted one.  Then the website (www.dvd-dealers.com) disappeared altogether and reappeared as mall-dvd.com.  I managed to get a reply from a girl named "Alice" at their contact e-mail, but the 2 month long back and forth that ensued was completely pointless.  She wouldn't refund me unless I sent the entire set back at my cost, which would have been half of what I paid for it to begin with, and then there was no guarantee that they wouldn't just claim they didn't get it and rip me off completely.

They assured me a partial refund, which was sent to my paypal account as "payment" rather than a "refund", meaning that I had to purchase a shipping label as though I was shipping them something in order to get the refund.  Then they suggested I just buy something else instead, and use the refund for that.  Hah!  This company is a fraud, a hoax, a completely dishonest bunch of scum bags.  Avoid them like the plague!  What I learned?  Buy American, or you have no recourse!!
