Dynasty Marketing Solutions, Inc. is a scam and they are the same company as Scanno Advertising, they are in the same office, same owners. I guess since Scanno has been exposed on thr Almighty Ripoff Report they are using a new company name to recruit under. Do not believe either of them to be good places to work. They do NOT pay a salary, so do not let them fool you on the phone that they may pay you a salary.

Once again stay away from Dynasty Marketing Solutions, Inc! Do not waste your time or gas to go in their filthy (literally) office. They also do not represent Papa Johns or any of the other companies listed on their website. They do have something going with Direct TV.

Dynasty Marketing Solutions and Scanno - Separate Companies

#2UPDATE EX-employee responds

Mon, January 26, 2009

My name is Katherine and I was an employee of Dynasty Marketing Solutions for a little over a year. In that time, I had the privilage to work with highly motivated and driven individuals who would agree that this company was not a scam, but a great opportunity. It is true that Scanno Advertising was in the same building as Dynasty, but they are not the same company and in no way did they have the same owner. As far as the statement about salary - commision was a big part of my position in the company, but there were employees who receieved base pay as well. I am not sure exactly how that was determined, but a lot of it had to do with different positions that people held. I believe that everyone is entitled to their own opinions and it is unfortunate that those reading the posting above are led to believe the wrong information.

Honesty in Advertising?

#3Consumer Suggestion

RE: Scanno Advertising, Dual Starr, whatever they name themselves. Fine, it's a door to door sales job. Then, advertise it as such. There are people willing to go door to door to sell, it's an honorable way to make a living. What is not honorable is the way Scanno positions itself in job postings. Many over qualified people are wasting their time with these people in hopes of more than door-to - door sales. The people who interwiew the prospects are vague, not up front nor really honest about what the job is. This is just plain bad business practices. If someone can find happiness and dollars in these shady companies more power to them. Frankly, my opinion, they are wasting people's times with their dishonesty in advertising and they are in reality wasting their own time. Advertise door to door sales, selling car wash in a can at gas stations, cold calling by knocking on doors to businessess selling clipper tix. I guess they are ashamed at what they do. I interviewed with the company, the offices were dirty, the interviewers were young and it just reeked of scam, in my opinion Alexis

This company is not a scam at all. It is a marketing firm. It requires you to work to get paid. It is great for someone that is starting a new, wanting to earn money. It is 100% commission, which means you will have to sell to eat. Now did they tell me I was going to get a salary, no. They did not explain the pay plan on the first short interview. They did that on the ride along. You are required to go door to door and sell items. The day I went it was Clipper tickets. You make money if you sell. They also have a connection with one of the Warehouse stores, where they get to sell to the customers there. Is it a great idea, yes for the company. For most people that have a family it is not good for you. IF you ahve a BA and think that you are entitled to getting paid if you do not perform, then no go work for McDonalds, or some other employee position. Now they have several different companies that sell different items, Dual Starr sells the car wash in the can, Scanno sells tickets. My ride along person admitted that there are several different variations to this, but what is wrong with that. It is no worse than sell news papers door to door, or selling anything. So Maybe you did not find the job for you, but to ruin it for others, that is plain stupid and child-like. Why not grow up? At least they are not requiring you to spend $400 on a non refundable kit that is not worth anything. At least they are not taking your training sales commissions away from you. At least they are giving you a chance to make money. Superior Lamp and Maintenance Engineering they do the above and worse.
