ea italy leather jackets sold me fake leather jackets kitchener ontario
i was travelling in ontario canada and stopped to get a coffee. as i was leaving an italian men in a vehicle next to me, motions to me that he wanted something.
i opened my window and he opened his. he began talking to me with a very strong italian accent. i could barely understand him.
he explained that he had been to a fashion show at some convention center and had extra leather jackets that were worth over $1000 each. he said he needed money badly to pay for his plane fair back to italy.
after some haggling he agreed to sell me four jackets for $200. he held a lighter to show me they wouldn't burn. i don't know exactly what that meant. when i took the money out of my pocket and he saw that i had quite a bit of cash. he suddenly changed his mind and upped the price to $250. i said no and he took the $200. when i got home 2 weeks later i looked the brand name up on the internet and found out i had been scammed. apparently they're not real leather. i'm not sure what they're worth, but it sure isn't $1000 each.
he gave me a business card, with italian names on it. when i searched for them, nothing came up.
he also complained about the cost of his rental car, which was some kind of suv.
so now i have four fake leather jackets and i don't know what to do with them.
