This is for Nancy who made a comment about entering the 21st century. The point is, Earthlink has a track record of dishonest practice including over charging, double charging, and charging with no service. They're customer service is the worse, they lie, cheat and basically tell you what you want to hear without actually doing anything to fix it. Hopefully more and more people will start coming here before choosing an ISP and see that they have a horrible track record. Just look at the pages of complaints. At most it's a way to warn the consumer because there's actually very few ways to stop these companies from doing business dishonestly. By the way, some people don't need blazing speed when on the internet and are content with dial up, it's offered and it's their choice to use it. DSL with Earthlink is horrible as that was my claim against them. Monthly credit card charges and double charges for no service that went on for months (I was under contract). They never refunded. Screw Earthlink

Why, in this day and age, would ANYONE still be using dialup? Dialup IS slow. DSL is not much better but it IS faster than dialup. Cable braodband is the best thing. Stop complaining and join the 21st Century.
