East Coast Mechanical Horrible Warranty Service - Sell you a warranty and then wont cover it Boynton Beach, Florida
Absolutely the worst company to deal with. My unit carried a ten year warranty from Trane the manufacture. I purchased an additional warranty from ECM as well. The compressor went bad after seven years. ECM would not honor the warranty they sold me. Instead, they would only warranty the compressor through Trane. At that point they wanted five days to get a new compressor from Trane, which was not required as I called Trane and they said compressors are available and in stock without problem. At that point they wanted to charge me $500 to replace the compressor which would be supplied by Trane. However, if I did not have the Trane warranty, they would have had to replace the compressor, parts and labor, for free through their own warranty. WHAT A RIPOFF !! Mark also explained to me that if I was willing to pay for the compressor, parts and labor, I could have it done the same day. This is totally a rip off and I would never do business with them again.
