Eastern Marketing Solutions Management Training---BIGGEST SCAM IN THE WORLD Pittsburgh Pennsylvania
Eastern Marketing Solutions, of EMS, is one of the biggest scams out there. I would caution ANYONE who even thought of applying here. If you notice, they have MULTIPLE job listings.....ALL FOR THE SAME POSITION!!!!!! I was fooled. I went to the first interview where Nicole told me that it was a account management position/management training. I was told that it was a guaranteed that you would be in management in 9 months. She also told me that it was commission PLUS bonuses that would equal 35,000 a year. I was then called and told that I was SELECTED for a second round interview that would be from 9-4:30. Stupid me agreed to go. I get to the office the next day (because they're trying to "wrap up" the interviewing process) and I get put in this little room with a very loud tv, apparently because people 9("professionals") were screaming and playing games. Nicole spends ANOTHER 45 minutes talking to me before I'm ushered out by this very non-professiona looking person. We spend ALL day driving and going door to door (which they like to dress up by saying business to business) to places where people OBVIOUSLY did not want us, trying to sell Verizon. At lunch (which was at a McDonalds) after alot of prodding, I found out that it is %100 commission. When asked about management I was told that the fellow had been there for over a year and had 3 people on his "team". Apparently this is some sort of pyramid scan where you have to bring peoplle on. When you get to 10 people you get to assistant management which means youre still making 100% commission!!!!!! When I asked how much he averaged he said between 300-500 a week. Are you kidding me???? You use your own car, we drove over an hour to his "territory" and he made NOTHING!!! They dont even reimburse you for cell phones OR gas!!!!!
The worst part is that Ms. Bell did not mention ANY of this in her interview. She lied over and over.
