Ebay customer service is the worst I have every had to deal with. They spam you a computer generated response that has nothing to do with your problem. Internet
I have had a long standing problem on Ebay. An ex friend of mine picked my password and used it to buy panties and gay pride t-shirts etc. I notified Ebay as soon as it happened. They never responded.
I contacted them over 25 times(including live chat, all they did was re-direct me to places I have already contacted; and tried to place the blame on me). After 2+ months of emailing them; when they did at last respond, all I was told was some lame automated response telling me to "Ask your family members if they got on your computer and ordered anything"!!
If an actual human being with an I.Q above 11 READ my email(along with all the proof I had to support my claim)they would realize that who did it.
When I talked to an on line rep-she kept blaming me for my misfortune. She said it was my fault J.R used my ID and password!! I wish I saved the conversation. I would display it.
Ebay could care less if my identity was stolen. They offer no help in solving my problem. They told me to contact the sellers. I did that-I told them 20 times - that I already did that; and the sellers were giving me a bad rating - which in turn would get me kicked off of Ebay.. Ebay could give a hoot...
I hope none has to go through having their identity stolen on Ebay.. If you do, your in for a headache.
I am going to write a letter to the At tourney General about my situation..
The cop's did nothing.. Ebays "Safe Harbor" did even less..
I hope everyone get's wise to Ebays lack of support and stops using their service. The crooks on Ebay get away with fraud; and the victims get blamed for it!!
