REcently I sold an item (jewelry) to a really great buyer on ebay.  The item did not get received so I filed a report with ebay, paypal, the USPS, creating a case and providing the Point of sale for the shipping costs and the items that was not received, as well as filed a fraud report with the USPS.  I called customer service at both ebay and paypal and told them the information I had and what I had done.  The buyer and I worked together through the whole thing.  I spoke with 3 people at the post office ebay and paypal... BOTH the people at ebay and paypal told me I WAS covered with seller protection based on the information that I had provided and that they would refund to the buyer..who has since left stellar feedback...Now ebay is saying they won't cover me and that I OWE them for the refund!  So at this time I lost a beautiful piece of jewelry and they did not follow through with their promise to reimburse both me and the buyer, but only reimbursed the buyer.  Now they are threatening to suspend or close my account because I do not think this is fair and not willing to pay them...that means I lost a $80 jewelry item and they are not reimbursing me per seller protection even though I provided ALL they (customer service said I needed)  At this time I am thinking of closing my account with ebay even though I have been selling and buying with 100% perfection on over 457 items...this is appalling to me that ebay ONLY caters to the buyers ....I am done with them and being penalized because I supposedly OWE them.....no...not happening...Tonja

I can visit any report I want and you have proven you are a scam running on the web to find vulnerable buyers to take from, so keep on. What goes around comes around. You are a scam if you defend one. You have extorted people too and got banned from ebay. I can tell by your comments. How does the tales feel on you? They must feel good if you keep adding to something you have no clue of. This report here shows ebay is a scam and they are never on one page with buyers, nor sellers. Stupid scammers are the ones disrupting reporting who need to stay out. You go make report Cindy and stop trying to disrupt others. Go let your mommy how to make a report and a living while you're at it, besides scamming people. How does trash feel to you? Make it up about me and I'll make it up about you. Non scammer will survive when I get finished, because they will all be revealed by sticking their nose in a battle and defending a scammer, show they're one. You can play it the way it is and give your own input, but when you talk personal,so will I. It works both ways!!

I read your report where it was basicly proven that you commited feedback extortion.....and whined about your negative feedback that ebay removed. When someone else files a report dont try to bring your problems to theirs.

You remember what I told you in my other report? It don't matter what they say, no buyer will tolerate a seller sending items not as described and not paying return. That is a rip off. What's gonna click it in you? Nothing you say will change the fact they are a scam and unless you are a part of them which makes your comments more worthless, then I suggest you stop talking to someone in technical terms and by what they say. They are a scam and nothing is gonna prove different. Let that sink in.

Seller should be responsible

After reading your complaint, I have arrived at the following conclusion.  You could have avoided this nuisance of a situation very easily had you opted to purchase insurance on the item which would have cost you only $1.65. With insurance you would have recovered your total sale price and you would have received your refund within appx. 48 hours.  It appears you misunderstood what seller protection provides, it is primarily to protect you from buyer fraud.  As the seller, you would need to show proof of delivery to qualify for the seller protection, with that, ebay would rule in your favor in the advent that a dispute arises.  As the seller it is your responsibility to insure that the item arrives at your buyer and in good condition.  Purchasing inexpensive postal insurance is the optimal way to protect you 100% as the seller.

Do you remember what I told you in your report? I specificly told you that in no way shape or form can you threaten to leave a seller negative feedback if they do not do something in return......no matter what it may be. I have no idea why that is not clicking.

I read where one said that if a buyer claims items not recieved or as described, you lose the money and are stuck paying return. That's a lie. I recently bought an item from a seller not as described and ebay said sellers aren't required and called my feedback extortion when I wasn't. Ebay is just a scam to both buyers and sellers. One minute they take up for the sellers, the next minute, buyers. They can never stay on 1 page and that's a scam. My feedback went through the extortion, reinstatement 3 times before they became hard-heads and said I was extorting for telling the seller I would leave negative feedback over the shipping and my item not arriving as described. Post like this prove ebay is a ripoff and they never stay on 1 page with their terms.

This sounds like the same scam that was recently pulled on me. Her feedback is private for a reason, she's a thief, and doesn't want the rest of ebay to know. She has your jewelry AND your money.

DON'T SELL ON EBAY!

#11Consumer Suggestion

If you list an item on eBay and the buyer claims he did not receive the item, it was damaged or was not as described, he automatically gets a full refund, at your expense, on eBay. You will also be stuck paying the shipping expenses both ways. Unfortunately, eBay is no longer a safe place for sellers, but it is a great place for buyer scam artists. If you want to go broke, just list items for sale on scammer assisted eBay and you will lose both your merchandise and your money.

If you want to sell something, sell it on webstore.com. There are no listing fees, value charges or other expenses. It is absolutely free, paid for by site advertisers. In addition, webstore does not get involved in seller/buyer disputes, but does have feedback ratings for both.

Dump ebBay! It was a good idea that has gone bad.
