Ebay Ebay sells used and refurbished IPhones and displays New whiel Buying... Beware don't buy anything expensive from them.

I purchased a I Phone 5s on 18th June, 2016 from Ebay through a seller named Abacus.in. Recently the phone started giving battery charging issues. When I took it for repair to the customer service center, they checked the phone and said that it is a used phone and is imported. The battery was swelled up and the phone is getting heated up.
When i bought this phone , it was clearly mentioned that it is a new phone but i found out that it is a used as it is not in the database of Apple. I have contacted Ebay several times and the customer care executives keep fooling us saying the warranty was for just 1 month and you can contact the seller through Ebay messaging. I have contacted the seller 5 times but have not received any response. No one ready to take any responsibility and this used phone is giving me issues every day. I had to buy a compatible battery but guess what it is also giving me the same issue. I recommend not to buy anyhting from Ebay whether it a cheap thing or any expensive thing. Please use other online portals to buy things.
