I just received a check for the money that Ecampus.com owed me. I also received a letter from the Kentucky Better Business Bureau with a response from Ecampus.com. Ecampus.com told the Kentucky BBB that they strive for 100% customer satisfaction, but that they are growing at such a large rate that some people fall through the cracks. Ecampus.com told Kentucky BBB that they were expediting a check to me right away. The check and the letter arrived the same day, so I was surprised. They also stated that they have been in the middle of a systems upgrade that was causing delays. I'm sorry, but I work in IT and it doesn't take 4 months to upgrade a system and when you are upgrading a system you still have the old system running so that you can do business. They also didn't communicate very well and ignored repeated emails that they didn't address in the letter, but at least I have the money.

I wish I would have known this information before. Customer Experience Based on BBB files, this company has an unsatisfactory record with the Bureau due to unresolved complaint(s). Complaints received by the Better Business Bureau concern difficulty in receiving promised monies for textbooks sold to the company through their "Buy Back" program. Complaints also concern difficulty in reaching the company through e-mails and/or telephone contact. Some complaints concern a failure to ship the books as promised, failure to notify of delays and charging restocking fees. Customer Complaint Data The company's size, volume of business and number of transactions may have a bearing on the number of complaints received by the BBB.
