TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.  IMPOSSIBLE TO GET ANY HELP.

PRODUCT IS UNRELYABLE. 

 

Bought an ice machine from Edge Star.  Within the fist month, it started making this horrible noise every 20 min or so.  I called customer service.  They were terrible.  I had to keep calling and leaving messages for them and no phone call/email/smoke signals back. 

 

After about 2 weeks, I got a hold of some miserable customer service guy who said they will not take it back unless they know what the problem is.   ARE YOU FREAKEN KIDDING ME?!?!?  That’s why I’m calling you!  After reading a few bad reviews online I guessed it was the pump and tried to call again.  This time I got a snarky man with little patience for my basic repair questions…. You know, like “how long will it take to get back?” 

 

Well, about a month later I get the machine back and low and behold its no longer making that loud noise but now it no longer makes ice. 

 

Awesome. 

 

I resend it to Edge Star and get it back another month later and surprise surprise its still not making ice. 

 

When I call customer service I get the yet another jewel from their customer support team.  This one tells me there was nothing wrong with my machine to begin with and that if I send it back again and they’re gonna charge me $45. 

 

Screw that!  Im gonna try and return it and buy something that wont cause me gray hairs. 

 

There are plenty of competitors out there, don’t waste your time and money with a defective product and terrible customer service.
