El Gordo Spanish Sweepstake Lottery a ripoff $1780 garbage, thanks to this company who told me I just won a rafle worth $615,810.00 Madrid Other
Wow did these Spanish people ever rip me off. It all started off when I received a letter in the mail. It was an envelope with A Spanish or Madrid stamp. I opened it up and it says I won $615,810.00. It said I had my name picked out of 25,000 names from Asia, Australia, Europe, and America etc. the letter looked and seemed so real. So I filled out some papers like where I live, my phone number, nothing big. I sent it in thinking I would never hear back from these guys, but it was worth the try.
Well I got a call 2 or 3 days latter saying that they received the letter and are getting ready to put 615,810,00 in my account all they need is $1,780 to verify and to put insurance on the money. It looks wired reading it but trust me everything they were saying was making sense. So we wired $1,780 to them and they received it saying congratulations!! The money will be in your account in a few days. Well it all went down hill after that.
The next day I got a call at 8:00 am sharp just like the day before when I got a call from the agent at 8:00 sharp. This time it was the bank of Spain calling and saying we are ready to send the $615.810.00 so they verified my banks name in Michigan, my name, number, address, I was thrilled at this time, a blue collar man with a family of six and I got someone calling and saying hears a crap load of money.
Well right after he verified everything he asked me if I would like the money in two days or a week, so I said two days, his response "That will be $7,800 for the two day and $6,300 for the one week" imp like what I just sent $1,780 that's when I realized I was getting ripped. I told him I would get back with him. At that time I was just flattened. I was so sad, mad, frustrated, butt I knew there was nothing I could do to get my money back, I went on goggle and typed in the name of the company and I got some story's from people who live in Maryland, Texas, Ontario etc. who wrote stories close or similar to mine. I called that boder agent back and told him about badbusinessbureau.com and he started to get defensive saying "what do you think im scamming you do you think im trying to steal your money blababla with his stupid Spanish accent. That's when I knew I just got ripped off bad.
What I'm trying to do is maybe we can get these guys thrown in jail or sue. Or, well I'm not going to say that. Everyone who read this knows what I really want to happen to these guys
