El Manjar Peruano/Marissa's Cakes Javier & Maritza Munoz Marissa's Cakes, Downey Non Professional dirty establishment that does not do what they say, the rip me off big time on my Daughter's Quince Cake Downey, California
Order a cake for my daughters 15th birthday and they not only screwed the order up but, made us the wrong cake entirely. We order a Mardi Gras themed cake and they try to give us a pink polka dot cake. and rather then trying to make it right they got very defense with me especially Maritza Munoz the wife of Javier Munoz, the proprietors of the EL Manjar Peruano by Marissa's Cake. The where rude and very un professional. Never said sorry or offer to give us credit or our money back. This place is a Rip off.
As we where leaving, we notice how dirty the counters and baking areas was. The staff that was baking where not using hair nets and using dirty towels towels and throwing everything on counter where the mix to make cakes. What a place. Found them on the low end newpapers El Classficado, that should have been my sign not to trust these people with my daughters Quinceara cake. To date, they have not refunded our money the owners are now never there and leave this guy in charge, who really does not want to get involved or does not care!
Please be WARN of EL Manjar Peruano/Marissa's Cake these people are Com Artist, they don't do cakes. They basically charged me $400.00, and tried to send me packing rather then make good. We have waited 6 weeks to all kinds of excuses. I have not heard back from Javier or Martiza Munoz, in Downey California, California
