Eldred Wheeler We made a deposit of $1195.00 in 2003, for a bed to be built. After over six months, no bed. We requested our deposit be returned. Eldered Wheeler refused. We have made nearly 15 requests. Internet
in 2003! we made a despist of $1195 to have a bed built. After 6 months, it had not been started. We requested return of our deposit. Eldred Wheeler refused. We have made nearly 15 requests since then. Our phone calls, emails and letters are not responded to. Yesterday, I went to the store one last time. When I called back for a decision, they still refused to return our deposit. All they would do is try to sell us something else. We have ll our receipts. They fully know they are wrong. When we refused to buy something else, they became rude and blew us off. We are filing lawuit this week.
We have 14 pieces of Eldred Wheeler furniture! During the time they have disputed us, we have bought many other pieces from other makers, all of whom make much better furniture than Eldred Wheeler. Although they profess extensive hand craftsmanship, machines are used to the maximum extent possible.
I have an original piece signed by Emmet Wheeler, whom I had known. He had a much different approach to business and made much better quality items.
I highly recommend you shop elsewhere.
