Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

When I purchased a 2006 GMC Envoy from Elite Auto on 9/17/2014, their website list the vehicle at $10, 231, however my finance paperwork lists the purchase price as $10,866.47. I have inquired on this issue multiple times, in addition to mechanical issues with the vehicle.

This purchase has been an absolute nightmare, two days after the purchase, it broke down in their parking lot, wouldn't start, then, reoccurring issues with the engine light coming on, multiple trips to the "Chevy Dealership", everything was suppose to be resolved, two days later the engine began tapping, took the vehicle back again, at this point, since the purchase, I had only had the vehicle in my possession a total of 7 days.

Now they said it needed a new motor and they would make it right and provide a one year warranty, it took 37 days to get the vehicle back, including at least a dozen of phone calls, messages, texts, most of which went unanswered or simply ignored.

When I got the vehicle back on 11/17/2014, the mechanic tolds me, that he changed the rods, they told me a new motor was needed, but then didn't do it.

We get about a week of use of the vehicle this time and the key stuck in the ignition sporadically, at this point I am done with this dealership, of several rounds of trouble shooting, we find that the solenoid shield wasn't tightened during the rod repair, this wasn't found until the truck broke down on three separate occasions and had to be towed home.

A week later, I here dripping after I park the vehicle, notice there are three areas leaking, upon further inspections, we find it is oil, the oil filter that was put on the vehicle during the rod repair at Elite was USED and only hand tightened.

Throughout all of this, I was without this vehicle for approxiamately 6 weeks, of which my auto insurance was $250 more than normal per month for a total of $375, the dealership in turn gave me a loaner parts of the time that my vehicle was in for repair, which my insurance would have covered, without the additional cost of the Envoy, for each loaner that they gave me, they registered those vehicles with the DMV in my name, which does not seem right, as I did not own those vehicles.

The BBB complaint I filed is UNRESOLVED - "RE: Complaint ID #  10359607
