We are a small business in colorado springs colorado and struggling as it is.  We had a salesman from a credit card services come into our shop Elite Pay Global.  He said he could save me sooo much money and then proceded to provide us with a form showing i would pay considerably less in fees (this form he did ask for back, but I was able to scan it before he took it) showing we would pay 1% credit card and 0% in debit. He was a smooth talker of course, Saying elite pay global and first data were the largest in the world and thats how we could save money.  Of course we signed at the promise it would help our business.  When I signed the contract Michael (salesman) he was waiting for me to sign every page and stated that I didnt need to read it and that it was exactly as promised and not to worry! I believed him as he had written down how much we would save.  After we received our equipment all of a sudden there were all these additional fees just being taken out of our account.  $99.00 compliance fee? $150.00 yearly service fee.  I cried when I checked the bank and saw all the fees taken out.  On average we were paying 5%!! Every month I emailed our service rep to no avail.   She hardly ever responded to my emails, she almost always called.  I figuired it out later that they didnt want the paper trail.  But I do have my emails to show that I attempted every month to find out why my fees were so high.  When I confronted her about the letter left by the salesman showing how much we would save she actually said that it was only an estimate and not a contract!  I was appalled.  They supposdly did a rate review twice.  Nothing changed.  The statements were so confusing to understand.  I wish I never would have signed up for this.  I had to close my bank account because I couldnt afford the craziness!  So now they are harrassing us with daily phone calls and probaly facing this on my credit. I warned the rep that I couldnt afford it and was going to cancel, of course she didnt call me she just sent us to collections.  They can have theyre equipment I dont want it.  I switched to square for the simpleness and ease. This has been nothing but a hassle but hopefully someone will read this  maybe save them the same hassle I have had to go through.  They are a complete fraud!
