Complaint Review: Elite Uinta Expansion - Salt Lake City Utah

 Elite Uinta Expansion is a horrible place where bullies/managers/owners expect you to work for FREE!! When I went in for my first interview I was told it was for an office manager position NOT SALES! Which is exactly what it turned out to be. I went in thinking I'd be working for what seemed like 2 eager and excited young business women. Which got me excited because they're about my age and seemed trust worthy and professional. Sadly they are the complete opposite of that. The first day of training there was loud music playing explict music so loud you can't hear the person speaking in your ear. Kat and Tasha made us aware during that training period it would be hard work.

"Hell and torture". But we would be paid weekly $300-$400 and after 6-8 weeksof training we would be making $30,000 a year plus bonus's. We would get our own offices wherever we wanted. It all sounded to good to be true and believe me it was. My first day consisted of note taking until 11:00am then we we're paired with "trainers" aka people who know just a week or two more than you. Your then given four bottles of perfume. And told to "listen to your trainer, shut up and don't interrupt your trainer during training". Which I personal thought that was ve.ry unprofessional to speak to people that way. Then our group of 4 got into the "trainers" car and when to lunch. After lunch we drove out to woods cross to a industrial area to "drop" bottles.

Keep in mind we are all dressed for office work not for walking around all day in 80 degree heat in dirty warehouses and greasy garages. After a day of watching my "trainer" do everthing but prostitute herself to sell a bottle of perfume. I finally got home at 6:00 pm. with swollen feet and ankles and a giant bruise on my calf not to mention bloody blisters on my feet. My second day of"slave labor" consisted of more notes and another day of hustling perfume. Along with driving my own vehicle that I started out with a 1/4 tank of gas and was never compensated any money for gas. The rest of my week was pretty much the same til l I quit Saturday. I went in the morning at 8:15 am because Kat and Tasha had told us they're there at 8:15 am everyday. Tasha finally showed up at 9:15 am.

Late because they were all supposed to go on a field trip to Lehi to see someones new office. I tried speaking to Tasha and was told to speak to Kat then Kat finally came in and completely ignored me. And spoke to someone who was standing right next to me then walked away. I finally got Kat alone in her office and all she said was "okay, bye. Call Saturday for your paycheck". So I gave all my bottles back and left. I called this morning and Tasha answered and immediately put me on hold. Then Kat got on the phone and acted like she had know idea who I was and as if I was annoying her. Kat told me that they don't pay people during training and they have every right to refuse to pay people who drop out of training. I personally hope enough people get the courage to stand up to these ridiculous money grubbing slave drivers and they're shown for who they really are and shut down!!
