Please save yourself the heartache and money and don't purchase a Devon Rex or Singapura from Elizabeth Bolen! She is very good at making you feel comfortable and telling you what you want to hear. She breeds way too many cats and her set up is like a kitten mill. I have one cat that is dying of HCM that I purchased from her (only 8 months old). She sent me a "replacement" kitten that arrived horribly sick with his eyes glued shut with pus and explosive diarrhea. She admitted to seeing his eyes runny before she shipped him but she never informed me and just put him on the plane anyway. He was diagnosed with feline upper respiratory disease and we still don't know why he has such bad diarrhea. She promised to have him shipped back at her cost via courier and to refund my money, but that never happened and now I'm stuck caring for a sick kitten that could easily infect my cat who is already dying. I don't care how well Elizabeth Bolen sweet talks you and claims to be a Christian. Don't buy any of it. Please don't support her unethical breeding practices. I've found many other breeders who perform the proper tests on their breeding stock, don't raise they're kittens in cages or buildings and stand behind their kittens. I wish I had known about them before. Don't make the same mistake I did. Please join the following Facebook groups (Love Devon Rex, Devon Rex and Nice Crazy Devon People) where you will find many more stories from people that have had bad dealings and sick kittens from her.

Oh yes, I will gladly respond to your post! Yes, since I filed this report, Elizabeth has issued a refund and reimbursed me for my vet bill, but it was only after public pressure was applied. Before going public with my story, all communication had ceased on her end. I am happy and fortunate to have received the refund and to have been reimbursed for the vet bill but the fact of the matter remains the same. Elizabeth knew the second kitten was ill before she shipped him to me (proven) and she never informed me of his condition. That should have NEVER happened...especially after everything that I've gone through with the first kitten that I got from her (you know, the one that's dying). Reputable breeders do NOT sell, send, deliver sick kittens...period! Elizabeth and I have settled this matter and I'm glad it's over and done with and I can move on and find a healthy, happy kitten. Like I told Elizabeth, I wish her well but I do feel she needs to perform the proper testing on her breeding stock and reevaluate her breeding program before continuing to produce kittens. She told me that she has decided to stop breeding until she can get everything straightened out and she might even give it up altogether. I truly hope that is the case.

I wish I had never read these reports. Two women have continued to slander her and make it appear as if there were multiple complaints. The truth is that she refunds your kitten and pays the vet bills in the rare occasion one may get ill. She also refunded those two women but they forgot to mention that i suppose. These reports will cloud your judgement and make you think this breeder is not reputable . That is a lie. Look at the attached picture of my kitten. I bought him from Elizabeth a couple weeks ago. If you have any questions, you may get my contact info from Elizabeth. Someone surely loved on him and was devastated when I thought he was ill and did everything in her power to make up for.....what? Someone else's slander?
