Ellijay River Outfitters Major Rip Off!!! Ellijay Georgia
Ellijay river outfitterI is suc. A rip off! we were given the worse instructions on were to get out of the river. We were given two of the crapiest floats I've ever seen. They werent even inflated all the way! when asked which trip we wanted the 1 or 3 hour run, we were not told about the waterfalls that were very dangerous and a little to much for tubers. We were given one quarter and told to call from the pay phone when we got out of the river. Got out of the river, called, no answer! We asked several peoplto for a quarter or a cell phone and no one had either. We finally found someone with a cell phone who called the place four more times for us with no answer!!! We watched five bus loads of people be picked up while we couldn't even get in touch with who was suppose to pick us up. An hour and a half later they finally show up and we get told they never heard the telephone ring. After paying forty dollars I expected a lot better float and definitely not a hour and a half wait wondering if anyone was going to come pick us up!!! wasn't given a refund or even an apology! I do not recommend anyone using ellijay river outfitters!
