Elvin L. Moore d**k Moore Fraudulently and intentionally collected $8,000 for a 5 acre parcel of land that did NOT belong to him! Wallace, North Carolina
My uncle (Elvin L. Moore) fraudulently and intentionally collected $8,000 from my mother for a supposed 5 acre tract of land (which turned out to be only 2 acres).
My mother ended up investing (5) five thousand additional dollars to being the property to code (perking) and available for use to build a home.
After visiting the register of deeds office, we were unable to ascertain a general warranty deed because we did not own the property after paying taxes on it four years! After paying about $500 dollars for a deed search, and $2,000 to have the property run off, the investigation revealed Uncle Elvin tried to sell the property previously, twice before.
Additionally, he (Uncle Elvin) sold the timber from the same tract of land twice!
The heir of the property is the grandson of Booker T. Newkirk in New York.
After confronting my Uncle with the evidence he has refused to return the money. He actually makes fun of my Mother in ways such as riding pass her house blowing the horn, extensively waving saying talk to my lawyer (of which he does not have)!
Please help my mother get reciproxity!
