Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I don't know how I ever signed up for this business(Email discount Network EDN), but somehow I did. I received an initial bill on my phone bill under Integretel. I had to do a bit more digging to find out the real company.

My wife cancelled the subscription in September and received e-mail confirmation of this with the promise of no more billing. Lo and behold we received another statement this month (November).

I called them and they had a record of a cancellation on the date my wife received her e-mail, but they still billed us for the next month anyway!! They now say that they'll refund the mistake.

This whole fiasco would not be so bothersome if EDN could tell me how I registered in the first place!! I never received any service nor was I provided with any benefit what-so-ever, not even the e-mail account they say you get according to their website.. I was only billed, rather secretively I might add.

To sum things up: I received a bill from my phone company with an extra charge from Integretel. After digging around I found out Integretel received the bill from Email Discount Network. I immediately acted to cancel all activity and find out how I was even signed up for theur service in the first place. The could not answer how I was signed up and supposedly cancelled my accound. Two months later the account was not cancelled and I am going through the cancellation process again.

Well, it took several months, but I finally have confirmation of a refund. I still don't have the money, but I should in the near future. My fingers are crossed. The reply I received is below: "Please be advised that we have processed your request and all refunds will be issued via your local telephone company (please allow 1 to 2 billing cycles for the credits to appear on your bill). You will receive no further charges (if there should be another charge due to the cut off of the billing cycle) Please contact us and we will promptly credit it as well. We understand that you stated that you did not authorize to sign up for this service and for this reason we have promptly cancelled the service and refunded you in full without hesitation. Please be advised, however, that before a consumer signs up for our services, all material terms of those services, including all costs, are fully disclosed. The consumer specifically confirms that he or she is at least eighteen (18) years of age and that he or she is, or has authorization from, the telephone line subscriber to bill charges to the telephone number that they have provided. We also require the consumer to provide information including: date of birth, mother's maiden name, a valid email address (where an order confirmation is sent within 24 to 48 hours of sign-up), and we capture the Computer's IP address for security and verification purposes. We apologize for any inconvenience that this matter may have caused and hope that we have resolved the matter to your satisfaction. If you require further assistance, please feel free to contact us via phone or email. Sincerely, Customer Service Department Email Discount Network"
