Please note that the name of Rich's company is Rich ---- Insurance; he is not an individual filing a rip-off report but merely a former client of ours. Unfotunately H----- Insurance had fallen into hard times and was unable to follow through with his uncancellable contract. We sympathized with his losses and mailed him a check to cover two months of his payments to help him out. Instead of making his payments to cover the lease on the equipment, he pocketed the money. On June 6th, 2007 we went to small claims court and the judge found that neither Emerald Card Services or Greg White owed Mr. H---- any monies or were guilty of any injustice.

Capital Merchant Services based out of Denver, CO no longer exsists in San Diego. Greg White was an employee of Capital Merchant Services up to December of 2006. In January of 2007, Greg White formed a new company Emerald Card Services to service the merchant credit card solutions. In June of 2007 Greg White was taken to court by Rich and the judge found that there was no connection between Capital Merchants and Greg White at this time. Even though Capital Merchants had an agreement with Rich Insurance Greg White attempted to help Rich Hardy transfer his lease to another business and get him out of the contract. When a new merchant was found to transfer Greg White found that Rich has not been making his payments and would not allow the transfer of the lease. Greg White contacted Mr. Rich and offered to pay two months of payments to bring his account ahead to transfer the lease. Mr. Rich received the money and instead of paying on the lease he pocketed the money. At that point Mr. White felt that he could not help this gentleman. Even the judge in court told Mr. Rich to pay back Mr. White the $170.00 and as of this time Mr. White has not received the money. I believe Mr. Rich is no longer in business and is trying to blame Mr. White for his downfall. It is up to Mr. Rich and the leasing company to sort things out.
