This company is like most but it is sad because both of them use to serve for the army yet they rip off the army people and those that are not in the service. They don't do what they are suppose to be doing until something goes wrong for them. There are many many bad reports on them and about 10 good reports out of about 50 + bad reports on them.Lets file a civil lawsuit and stop them while they live in there big home in the middle of killeen tx and enjoy life while ripping off all of us and the landlord's as well

we have to put up with the crap they treat us like and they need to be stopped there is already about 5 of us getting together and getting ready to file suit while they leave their daughter and the rest of their  staff t do their dirty work they sit back smiling and they owe people money for many different  reason's and in the past people just walk away after trying to fight for a little while they give up well not anymore lets get it right and close them down because they should not be open at all...God does not like ugly even the high shall fall

Why all of a sudden does a person know to come on ripoff report and write such a good statement who knows to come here unless you have a bad issue this is why it is called rippoff report so who put you up too coming on here and writing such a sweet statement? also why did not write before tenant/owner?

Why has this company changed their name so many times if this company and the people were such good people then why keep changing your company name? A company builds their name up by keeping the same company name so people will know and grow to know (if you will) your company by the name.At one point  you all were  texstar, then teamwheatley, then era colonial real estate.now emily's rentals when your wife name is shelly .Why is it on one of the sites does it state that she (shelley) say she enjoys her job and spending time with her two kids when the truth is she has like 7,8,or 9 kids?and no matter how many you have should you tell the truth about them all?

why are there more negtive reports than good reports online about most of your past Companies and a few bad report's about emily's?

why do you allow the companies you use to do a job and before putting what work was done on the invoice you allow tenants to sign which very well can allow a company to put false work and anything else on those invoices which has been going on way too long and is not right nor fair too the owner's of these homes is it?

just know the real truth will come out sooner than later and if one person one owner can prove what you say it not the truth it will be put online and it will not be slander nor frad nor trying to hurt your company because it is the truth.the light will shine in very soon very nasty people if things don't go their way.stay tuned for facts people they are coming soon And then what will you have too say?

So many spend the time to verbally bash a business with honest people, I have been business acquaintances with Emilys Rentals for more than 14 yrs. Our relationship started when my spouse and I purchased our very first home, at the time I was 22 yrs old, well Kyle and Shelly were there with us from start to finish, for first time buyers if was a great experience, about 1 years after that we were reassigned and have been away from Fort Hood since 1999.

The Wheatley's became our property managers, for the 13 years we were away our property stayed rented, not once was the property unrented for more than thirty days. So I received orders to return and there was only one company I would trust Emily's Rentals! I immediately contacted them.  I visited on a four day weekend and they ensured that I got the opportunity to check out properties on the busiest holiday of the year. So needless to say my move was door to door. Within 30 days of being here I was able to sell my property thru Emily's Rentals in this market and walk away with a profit.  Emily's rental is a trustworthy family oriented company and there are no others I would trust with my new plan of purchasing a home.  It is unfortunate that there are those that are malicious with nothing better to do but attempt to destroy the good reputation of good people.

All i have to say is please don't rent from them and as hard as times are if you have to leave your home don't leave it in there hands it's your home. And all you are paying them is 10% to care for your home and let me say this people almost don't even care about each other now day's. So do you really think they will care for your home like you want them to over a 10% fee. Well i am here to tell you after 2 yrs i know they are no good and it is time for them to close their doors i don't know why people are not standing up to them but they do need to stop what they are doing and get right or close the doors and stop ripping people off they do not walk the homes like they are suppose too,

they send worker  over to fix on things and when the workers do come when they are done doing nothing they have you sign a blank paper. So that they can put whatever fees they want on the paper and stick it to the owner of the home and i feel bad about that and when you tell them about that all they say is (oh really) they don't get the homes cleaned before people move in  like they are suppose too. They really don't care about anything or anyone but that oh mighty dollar. I'm all for a class action law suit .Yes there are people who don't do right and they don't pay their rent and yes that is very bad.And yes their are people who tear up homes and that to is very bad but is it everyone? NO it's not and that is not fair and another thing who make you pay rent buy the 2nd or 3rd of the month every place i have been gives you untill the 5th out of kindness.

they are good people but they do the wrong thing by so many people and yes they have had all those names that are listed above that is not a lie just look it up and you will find it online and if not i have copy's of it and will be happy to post the info. They really can go far if they tried caring a little more about people. So you should tell the truth Mr Wheatley.cause looks like veryone is also no one has this many bad report all over the web if something is not wrong....go figure

TELL THE TRUTH

#5REBUTTAL Owner of company

Thu, April 12, 2012

I question the authenticity of this compliant. I believe that is is a fraudulent complaint for the reasons listed below.  Very few of my customers know that I was in the Army, even fewer know that my wife served in the Army.  Additionally, my home is in Killeen, but few know where I live or what my house looks like.   Finally, almost no one knew that my step daughter, works in the office.  I believe that this report was filed by an individual / competitor in the real estate community.  There are no specifics as to what an issue is or was.

My policy to both owners and tenants that have an issue is to personally meet with them if they are available (local) or to personally review the complaint or issue that is presented.  There is a false claim of people owed people money, and that staff has to do dirty work. If this person does have a real an valid issue I welcome the opportunity to discuss it with them and to correct the issue if there has been a mistake on the part of the office.

As a property manager, we are responsible to property owners, while providing service to a tenant.  There are many owners that want all expenses charged to a tenant, and many tenants expect the owners to pay for all cost.  We have to find a balance between the two with the best possible fair and equitable solution.
If the individual or any other person wishes to contact me the may do so at 254-681-3045.
