Buyer Beware - Cameroon!!! She or he is cunning asking many personal questions, acting as if you only pay air fare. Cute adorable English bulldogs (or any other breed) for adoption. Here are some of the questions: Way(misspelled) are you located? How many would you like to adopt? Are you a Christian or from a Christian background or are there other acceptable religions that you follow? Are you married and /or do you have children? How old are you? Have you had pets before?
I was stupid enough to answer these questions. It took me a little more e-mails to realize my mistake. I kept e-mailing to get more information. This is all I found out - all e-mails except for last were from [email protected]. I replied to an adv. on Kijiji.com.
She said she was from Paden City, West Virginia and now in Cameroon, Virgin Land and that the pup or pups would be sent from the country international airport and then said the Douala International Airport. The money should be sent to [[email protected]]. I asked for her phone number so I could speak to her personally.
She said the phones are not working there, but the number is 00237-74105307. The last e-mail that she sent asking me to send her a receipt of the money I sent to the airport she used another e-mail address saying her computer was not working properly. This time the e-mail address was Ndonga Helena Sirri
So, maybe that is her name - or someone she knows - but, whoever it is they sure do have busyfingers. I would presume that each e-mail to an individual will have different questions so they can keep up with whom they are corresponding. So, I may have given myself away. Also, I would think they might use different e-mail addresses. You may know more about this than I!
I sure hope no other people fell for this!
