Empire Group Direct SCAM! Empire Direct Group advises the susbscription was renewed. Same person called under 3 different names. Plattsburgh, New York
Empire Group Direct called indicating we owed $629 for 6mos subscription and this 2 year program was renewed by someone within the company. They could not provide any documentation, only previously recorded phone conversations. The phone conversations were not a recording of the subscription acceptance, but of the address verification the 'quality' dept. calls about after the fact. I received several messages from the same woman (but with 2 different aliases) - Barbara Wood and Vivian (?). This is the same woman. Her accent is terrible and when questioned about proper documentation she'll stumble and hang up.
I do not have the proof, but think Empire Group Direct has ties with Mayrand Publishing who mimics the same ethical (or lack thereof) policies.
