I made an appt with Empire Carpets to come to our home today, 9/2/05. Last night I had to cancel and did so via email. We were able to rearrange out plans so I called Empire this morning and spoke with a rep. who reinstated our initial appt. Several hours later I recieved a phone call stating that our appt. had been cancelled and that specific time was not available. After being on the phone for nearly 1 1/2 hours to try to rectify this situation Empire was completely unsympathetic and would not budge in trying to make an appt for us. I then told them that there company is nothing like what is represented on their commercials. I will never be treated like that again. I guess our money and business was not that important to them.

I checked Empire Today out before I had carpet installed and even though I saw a few complaints on this site I decided to go with them anyway based on referrals from friends and after reviewing their company with the BBB and finding them to have a satisfactory record. I just wanted to say that I am very pleased with the purchase and installation of my carpet. Both the sales person and installers were very professional in their work. The installers were very concerned with every detail of the job. I will definitely refer your company to my many friends and work associates and will look forward to doing more business with Empire myself.
