Encante Eye Cream Kuvo Eye Cream This is a total rip off! Utah
I was contact via an advertisement for a $5 sample of eye cream, which I ordered. The sample, as well as a sample of Valere Face Cream. There was nothing to indicate to me that this product was not a great deal. I did not use the product as soon as it came so about a week passed before the trial period. When I did try the product it gave me a rash on my face so I called the 1-800 number associated with the packaging. The representative was polite and told me that they would discontinue sending more product and that they were sorry for any inconvenience.
When I received my credit card bill, I found that I was billed for more product and a box came in the mail the next day. I called again and was told that the first person did not do what they had said that they would. I was assigned an RMA number and was told that they charge would be removed from my acocunt.
Then I called the phone number associated with KUVO Eye cream and ask why there was a $99.01 charge on my bill as well as the charge from Valere Skin Cream. The representative was snotty and told me that their company is not associated with Valere cream and that my calls to Valere and Kuvo to cancel shipment was over a mandatory 30 day period so I was charged $99.01 to end my contract. What?
I stated that I would dispute the charge and would not pay it. The representative stated that they would refund 1/3 of the costs in 'good faith'. I stated that I would dispute it. The rep stated that it did not matter, as it had been already paid by my credit card and that I was out of luck. I told the rep that this was the biggest rip off I had witnessed in a while.
The credit card company will not let me dispute it as they have changed their system and apparently Kuvo knows this and I did not.
