Complaint Review: Enchanted Circle Fair - Arroyo Seco New Mexico

Dan Bryan has approached several prominent citizens in the Taos area trying to get them to buy in to the Circle Fair.  And then he and his loud mouth wife think that they should be allowed to see people's tax returns.

HA Everyone knows that they are only after people's social security numbers so they can steal the identities of people who have better credit than they do.

They specifically require investors have net worth in the millions before they are allowed.  Of course that is the case they are  not looking for any normal person to invest they want people who have actual millions of dollars so they can scam them.

This fair has failed year after year for some poor excuse or another.  This year's excuse is at least a legitimate one being that he spent days in jail for being a WIFE BEATER and he has a sentencing coming up on June 19th.  He could well be cooling his heels in Jail during the circle fair so he had to postpone it for a year.

Problem with that is it gives him and his wife plenty of time to scam people into buying into a fair that never happens.  Sounds to us like it is the Cactus Flats Redux Part 2. 

Stay away from these scammers because all you will get is an empty bank account if you even listen to what they say.

 We were shoecked to learn today (April 25, 2014) that Melissa Bryan claimed she had to call the police and have her husband arrested for beating her up.  She reportedly ran to a neighbor's home to escape his rage.  This is sad and disheartening to see.

This further discredit's Mr. Bryan and his delusional idea of having a Fair right after the Taos County Fair and we would hope nobody would support his efforts now that it has been revealed he is a heartless wife beater.

 These reports were authored by one or more people that have a personal vendetta against my wife Melissa which is evident in the mentions of her in the reports.. She has no involvement in the ownership of Enchanted Circle Fair now nor will she in the future. I do not frequent casinos and the last time I played a slot machine was over two years ago using money given to me by the casino as a promotion of their casino. Cactus Flats Ranch and Arenas. Inc. was a C corporation I created in Arizona. Melissa was put in as a incorporator along with me because Arizona Law required two incorporators for a C Corporation and I did not know anyone else in Arizona. Cactus Flats Ranch and Arenas, Inc failed because I was not able to secure necessary funding.  The authors of these reports are claiming that people worked for Cactus Flats Ranch and Arenas and did not get paid. I challenge the authors to send to the mailing address for Enchanted Circle Fair the full names, Social Security Numbers, dates of employment, job title and wage rate of the people who supposedly worked for Cactus Flats Ranch and Arenas and did not get paid. I also challenge them to explain why no one filed a wage claim with the Arizona Department of Labor. They will not be able to meet these challenges because no one did any work for Cactus Flats Ranch and Arenas, Inc. We posted on the website job posting and collected resumes and applications but no one was ever hired.

Look in the Entry books of  any major fair in the U.S. and you will  find that they do charge entry fees to children and adults to enter the contests. Those entry fees are often put back into the prize pool and awarded to the winners which is the case for Enchanted Circle Fair. The ads in the exhibitor handbook that are mentioned by the authors of these reports were given to me as copies of advertisement that been placed in a newspaper or as business cards. Because of the size it was necessary to tape them to a larger piece of paper to prevent it from getting stuck in the scanner. I had signed contracts with Hambone Express Racing Pigs, Dr. Solar and the Rodeo. They did not pull out I cancelled the contracts when it became evident that the Fair was not going to happen in 2013. The concert performer was TBA because there was not yet a contract in place. 

 Is there any wonder why all of the entertainment that dan booked for his circle jerk fair has cancelled on them?  They were alerted to get their money in advance or they would have been scammed like all the people from Cactus Flats were.  Go to the circle fair website and see that he is going to charge CHILDREN money for entering their exhibits into his scam fair.  A REAL fair does not charge the children or the people for entries into the fair. 

If they have nice produce or a beautiful flowering plant or a lovely cow they want to show off to their neighbors all they need to do is sign up and bring in their exhibit.   The "handbook" he has made has a total of 4 advertisements in it.  I wonder if the people who he probably scammed a good deal of money from to place those ads would like their money back knowing how crappy of a job he did putting the ads together.  You can see the scotch tape on the art in the ads, you can tell the cut things out of newspapers, taped those ads to paper and then scanned them in for his book.

They claim a bull riding event and a PRCA rodeo?  They will be lucky if they can muster up one sheep for the mutton busting. I think it is time that the livestock provider was alerted that they too should demand payment up front if they want to receive any payment for their animals appearing at this bogus event.  

OH and the concert after the fair?  The performer is TBA.  If you have not booked any talent at this point you won't be getting any good musicians or singers at this late of a date.  Maybe this is what Missy meant when she said she might get a chance to sing on stage this summer.  She would be the only talent available at this late of a time.

But she points fingers at everyone but herself when it comes to why all of these business ventures fail.  She is the reason that Dan's event has come under such scrutiny.  She is the reason why the entertainers pulled out of the event.  And she will be the event that there will be NO Enchanted Circle Fair this year or any year.  Yes Missy is the cause of all of Dan's troubles, why he cannot get a job and why he won't be able to pull off an event of this magnitude.  Her reputation has ruined his chances of pulling off a lemonade stand much less than a big event like this.

Maybe if they move to another state where they are not so well known for their scams Dan could get a chance at a good job.
